How to install Kodi on Firestick

I've done this several times, so I'm writing it down for easier reference. We have 6 Firesticks now, one for every TV in the house. Installing Kodi on the Firestick means all of the TVs can access our network storage drive and play whatever music, movies, and TV shows we might have on hand.

1. In the Firestick, go to Settings - My Firestick - Developer options - turn on "Apps from unknown sources"
2. Install the downloader app from Amazon, you can find it in the My Apps section
3. Open the downloader app, go to http://www.kodi.tv/download
4. Select Android
5. Install the 32 bit version, the 64 bit version doesn't install on Firestick for some reason
6. That's it, go configure Kodi
