Year after year, Evolution doesn't know what time it is
It's that time of the year again, the time of year where Congress decides we all need to change our clock, and like sheep, we all do. It's an annoyance, but not enough to take action against. It's also that time of year when the Evolution calendar doesn't know what time it is. I don't know why this is so hard for Evolution. My computer clock did the right thing two weeks ago, but Evolution didn't do it until this past Sunday, which was two weeks late. Checking the bug reports for Evolution, this is reported twice a year for the past several years. Writing programs that know the proper time really isn't that hard, so it continues to amaze me that Evolution can screw this up every time. The tricks to fix it from last year don't work with the latest version of Evolution, it ignorantly ignores all adjustments and insists on being off an hour. Oh well, at least it was only wrong for 2 weeks this year rather than 4 weeks like last year.
